1. About these terms

These terms and conditions apply to your use of the GreenFox Energy website and to any services we provide. By using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

GreenFox Energy Solutions Limited is registered in Scotland (company number SC758486).

2. Our services

We provide solar panel installation, battery storage, EV charger installation, and ongoing maintenance services across Scotland. All installations are carried out by our MCS-certified in-house team.

3. Quotes and pricing

Quotes provided through our website or following a home survey are indicative and subject to a full technical assessment. A detailed, fixed-price quotation will be provided following a home survey, and this price will be honoured for 30 days from the date of issue.

All prices include VAT where applicable. Solar panel installations on residential properties currently qualify for 0% VAT.

4. Surveys and assessments

Home surveys and initial consultations are provided free of charge with no obligation. Information gathered during a survey is used solely to design and quote for your solar system.

5. Installation

Once you accept a quotation and the deposit has been received, we will schedule your installation. Typical installation timescales are 2-4 working days. We will agree a start date with you in advance.

All installations comply with current building regulations, MCS standards, and relevant electrical safety standards. We provide certification including MCS registration, DNO notification, and QualityMark protection.

6. Warranties and guarantees

• Workmanship warranty: Minimum 2 years from date of installation
• QualityMark Protection: Provided with every installation (fully refundable)
• Panel manufacturer warranty: Typically 25 years (varies by manufacturer)
• Inverter manufacturer warranty: Typically 5-12 years (varies by manufacturer)

7. Cancellation

As a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of signing a contract, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. To cancel, please contact us in writing at hello@greenfoxenergy.co.uk.

8. Limitation of liability

We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from the use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant service.

Nothing in these terms shall limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is owned by GreenFox Energy Solutions Limited and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without our prior written consent.

10. Website use

We aim to keep this website accurate and up to date but do not guarantee that all information is complete or error-free. Energy savings figures are estimates based on typical usage patterns and may vary depending on individual circumstances.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

12. Homebuilding & Renovating Show promotion 2026

The Homebuilding & Renovating Show promotion is offered by GreenFox Energy Solutions Limited to eligible residential customers purchasing a new solar installation.

• To qualify, you must submit your details through the GreenFox Energy Homebuilding & Renovating Show page or at GreenFox Energy’s Stand 514 no later than 10 October 2026.
• Your qualifying solar installation must be completed by 10 April 2027.
• Eligible customers receive £250 off the final contracted price of their new solar installation.
• A minimum order value applies. The discount is only available where the final contracted price of the installation meets that value. We will tell you before you accept a quote if it does not.
• The discount increases to £500 in total if you are an Octopus Energy customer, or if you switch to Octopus Energy through GreenFox Energy’s referral link after enquiring. Any switch must be completed and your Octopus customer status verified before you accept your GreenFox Energy installation contract.
• GreenFox Energy may request reasonable evidence of your Octopus Energy customer status. If this cannot be verified by the required date, the standard £250 HBR discount will apply.
• The promotion is limited to one discount per household and per installation. It is non-transferable, has no cash alternative and cannot be used retrospectively.
• The promotion cannot be combined with another GreenFox Energy installation discount or promotional price unless GreenFox Energy agrees otherwise in writing.
• All installations remain subject to a home survey, technical suitability, an accepted GreenFox Energy quotation and our standard contract terms. The discount will not be payable if the installation is cancelled or is not completed by the deadline.
• Any switching credit or reward offered by Octopus Energy is separate from this GreenFox Energy discount, is administered by Octopus Energy and is subject to Octopus Energy’s own eligibility requirements and terms.
• We want to offer the discount to as many eligible customers as we reasonably can, and we take a generous view of borderline cases. We may still decide not to apply it where the reduction would leave us with no sensible return on the work, or where the job is not one we can fairly price at the discounted rate. If that happens, we will tell you before you accept a quote.
• GreenFox Energy may refuse or withdraw the discount where information supplied is inaccurate, eligibility cannot be verified, or there is evidence of misuse. We may amend or withdraw the promotion before a qualifying enquiry is made without affecting customers who have already qualified.
